The following are some of the most frequently asked questions about Fontasso. If you have a question that is not answered here, please contact us.

1. What is Fontasso?

   Fontasso is a font book for iOS empowering you to browse, preview and share sammples of fonts. With the premium experience it enables you to install fonts your fonts and Google Fonts directly onto your device.

2. How do I install fonts from Google Fonts?

   Premium users are able to install fonts from Google Fonts by opening the Fontasso app - on the Add Hub - by browsing the Google Fonts catalogue, select the font you want, and follow the installation prompts. The font will then be available for use in any app that supports custom fonts.

3. Can I install my own fonts?

   Yes, as a premium user of Fontasso, you are able to install your own fonts from any source, including Google Fonts. You can import font files into the app and install them on your device for use in compatible applications.

4. Are there any additional fonts available on iOS for free?

   Yes, iOS has a collection of additional fonts that can be downloaded on demand. Standard users are able to with Fontasso, explore and install these additional fonts directly from the app.

5. Is Fontasso free to use?

   Fontasso is free for the exploration and sample sharing of fonts. Some advanced features, such as premium font installation, require a purchase or subscription.

6. Does Fontasso support all apps on iOS?

   Fontasso supports any app that allows the use of custom fonts. Some apps have limitations on font usage, so it’s best to check the specific app’s documentation for compatibility.

7. How do I uninstall a font?

   If the font is installed via a profile (premium functionality). To uninstall a profile installed font, go to Settings.app -> General -> VPN & Device Management and select the profile of the font and click remove profile. Follow the instructions from there. If the font is from Apple’s install on demand (additional fonts), go to Settngs.app -> General -> Fonts and select the font you want to install then click the remove button.

8. Is Fontasso compatible with all iOS versions?

   Fontasso is designed to be compatible with the latest versions of iOS (26 at the time of this FAQ). However, some features may not be available on older versions of the operating system. Please check the app’s requirements for compatibility information.

9. What information does Fontasso collect?

   Fontasso collects usage data and analytics to improve the app and provide a better user experience. We do not collect any personal information or data that could identify you as an individual. See our privacy policy for more details.

10. What apps support fonts that I have installed

    We have tested creative apps such as - Adobe apps, Pixelmator, Affinity 2 (Designer, Photo + Publisher), Apple Creator Suite and were able to utilise the fonts.
